Counseling Interns

Our Counseling Interns Include:

 

Sanique Lyn, BS (Gainesville Office)

Sanique Lyn is graduating with a Master in Social work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2022. She holds an undergraduate degree in bioengineering from Binghamton University. She has worked as a case manager at a non-profit behavioral health organization and as a Social Work intern at a transitional home for dually diagnosed women. Sanique works from a person-centered approach and collaborates with clients to identify and enlist their internal strengths and resources to approach life’s challenges.

At Life Enrichment Counseling Center, Inc., she is an intern who sees young adults and women who are in need of mental health services.

Jennifer Ross, BA (Gainesville Office)

Jennifer Ross will be graduating with a Master of Social Work degree from Simmons University. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from Penn State University. Jennifer worked in the legal field before moving into the nonprofit sector. After two years with a small nonprofit working in food security and anti-poverty programming, she resolved to pursue her MSW and continue work in direct social service.

Jennifer is working as Social Worker Intern with homeless women with dual diagnoses in a group home setting. She provides support around obtaining employment, maintaining personal appointments, adhering to program requirements, and other tasks and responsibilities geared toward securing stable housing and achieving self-sufficiency.

At Life Enrichment Counseling Center, Jennifer works as an intern with young adults and women in need of mental health services.
