“I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I have the unique opportunity to help families overcome circumstances that they may have thought to be hopeless. No matter what issues that an individual or family may be struggling with, working to understand the family system and family history is imperative to me. I believe that helping families to learn new ways of relating to each other, how to resolve conflicts and better ways to communicate will have a positive, lasting impact on all family members.

I also have extensive experience in working with adolescents in middle and high school. Adolescence is a time that is full of many transitions which can lead to stress for both the adolescent and their families. When working with Teens, I primarily utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to address concerns such as struggles with mood, social skills, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, stress management and school refusal.

I appreciate and admire the families, adolescents and adults that I work with and their bravery in taking the step towards improving their current circumstances by working with me in therapy.

I have a passion for working with families that are in distress and supporting them in improving their family dynamics and functioning. I believe that as a resident in Marriage and Family therapy, I have the unique opportunity to help families overcome circumstances that they may have thought to be hopeless. No matter what issues that an individual or family may be struggling with, working to understand the family system is imperative to me.”
