How far in advance can I book an appointment?

Clients may schedule appointments up to three weeks in advance; however, if you need to schedule a visit within the next 24 hours, please call our office to check on clinician availability.

Does Life Enrichment Counseling Center accept insurance?

The Life Enrichment Counseling Center is a participating provider with all Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and HMO plans. This includes Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield. If your insurance is not in our network, you can still schedule a session with us and we will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company. The out of pocket cost is $160 per hour.

How do I know if my insurance will cover my services?

It is the client’s responsibility to get in touch with their insurance to verify benefits. Our office staff will also check insurance benefits as a courtesy.

I don’t have insurance; can I still schedule a session at Life Enrichment Counseling Center?

Yes. If you don’t have insurance, you can still book an appointment at $160 per hour. We will provide you with an official receipt called a superbill.

How long are therapy sessions?

Each therapy session can run anywhere from 35 to 60 minutes.

I don’t have a connection with my therapist, what do I do?

We understand that some clients may not always connect with their therapist, and that’s okay. Please feel free to contact our administrative staff if you feel that you do not connect with your therapist. They will be more than happy to reassign you with a different therapist.

What is your cancellation policy?

To avoid a late fee, we recommend that clients cancel up to 24 hours in advance. An $80 late cancel fee will be assessed for any cancellation made after the 24-hour cutoff time.

What do I do if I am sick?

Please call our office or email your therapist to let us know that you will miss your scheduled session due to illness. If you are ill, it is preferable that you stay home. There are alternatives such as telehealth sessions that can be offered. We can also postpone and reschedule your appointment.

What is your COVID-19 Policy?

We make an effort to preserve social distancing guidelines in our office for in-person sessions. Masks are optional for both LECC staff and clients. To stop the spread of COVID-19, please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling ill.

How can therapy help me?

Therapy at Life Enrichment Counseling Center can support you by giving you improved problem-solving abilities and coping mechanisms to help you deal with problems like depression, anxiety, and grief, to mention a few.

Can a therapist at Life Enrichment Counseling Center prescribe medication?

No. Therapist at LECC do not have the ability to prescribe medication to clients. If client’s needs require a prescription, please contact a psychiatrist or your primary care physician.

Are our conversations confidential?

Sessions are confidential unless you are at risk of hurting yourself or others. As a group practice, we often provide internal peer consultations as needed. Non-licensed clinicians received clinical supervision on cases.
