En el centro de concejeria, “Life Enrichment Counseling Center,” estamos dedicados a brindar apoyo de salud mental, inclusivo y accessible a todas personas de diversos orígenes. Nuestros servicios de consejeria en Español se ofrecen por citas en persona y por modo telesalud/virtualmente. Estos servicions estan especificamente diseñados para realizar las necesidades únicas de las personas de habla hispana, quienes buscan servicios de salud mental.

Nuestros servicios de consejeria en Español ofrecen una variedad de beneficios:
- Accesibilidad: entendemos la importancia del la relacion entre el lenguaje y la comunicación, y la forma en que esto afecta la terapia efectiva. - Terapia Individual: Nuestras sesiones de terapia individual ofrecen un espacio confidencial en el cual las personas pueden explorar sus pensamientos, sentimientos e inquietudes con un terapeuta professional.
- Terapia Para Adolescentes: nuestros servicios de terapia en español para adolescentes están diseñados para ayudar a los niños y adolescentes a superar dificultades emocionales y de comportamiento, en un ambiente seguro y comprensivo.
- Terapia Virtual/Telesalud: Por medio de la terapia de telesalud/virtual, usted puede asistir a las sesiones desde la comodidad de su hogar o de cualquier espacio privado. Esto elimina la necesidad de viajar, y le permite adaptar la terapia a su atareada agenda diaria. La terapia de telesalud elimina las barreras cuáles limitan atención a la salud mental. Esto Tambien le hace accesible los servicios de salud mental a personas que pueden tener dificultades u obstaculos en acceder sesiones en persona debido a la distancia, problemas de movilidad u otras limitaciones.

Maria Fahrion, MA, LPC (Bilingual Therapist)

Maria Fahrion is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, but also maintains licensure in the state of Florida. She has experience working in various mental health settings, such as community mental health centers, non-profit domestic abuse and trauma programs, and substance abuse and recovery treatment.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and has worked in post hospitalization stabilization programs (PHP,) both in groups and in individual settings. She has also worked in adult and adolescent substance abuse, intensive outpatient programs (SAIOP,) as well as Medication Assisted Treatment (“MAT”) substance abuse programs.
Ms. Fahrion holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in Virginia Beach and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Kean University in New Jersey. She began her career as an elementary school teacher after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Spanish History and Literature, from Kean University in New Jersey. Ms. Fahrion is bilingual in English and Spanish.
As the spouse of a retired Army veteran, Ms. Fahrion has firsthand understanding of the unique challenges faced by military families and the impact these experiences can have on the entire family system. She has experience working with adolescents and military families undergoing adjustment difficulties related to transitional stressors.
Her clinical approach emphasizes fostering resilience, improving coping strategies, and strengthening family systems to support healthy adaptation. In addition to her work with military populations, she provides care to individuals across the lifespan, addressing a wide range of life challenges by integrating evidence-based interventions and a client-centered framework to promote long-term growth and successful outcomes.
As a therapist, Ms. Fahrion is also committed to supporting individuals experiencing acculturation challenges, utilizing a multicultural and culturally responsive approach. She has collaborated with Departments of Social Services and Child Protective Services, conducting assessments with adults, families, and adolescents impacted by substance use, child abuse, and family separation. Her work in these areas reflects a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and systemic assessment.
Nelva Hernandez, MSW, LCSW (Bilingual Therapist)
(Alexandria, Online Therapy)
Ms. Nelva Hernandez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) currently living and providing services in Northern Virginia. She was raised in Washington, DC, where she completed her studies, including her Master’s in Social Work at Howard University.
Ms. Hernandez is a native Spanish speaker, and she conducts therapy sessions fluently in both English and Spanish. She strives to provide culturally responsive treatment to individuals from all walks of life and has supported many clients struggling with acculturation stress. Ms. Hernandez specializes in treatments for anxiety, depression, anger and stress management, relationship stressors, and life transitions. She employs an eclectic array of evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions to treat symptoms across the spectrum of mental health issues and life stressors. Ms. Hernandez seeks to focus on her client’s needs and preferences while nurturing the therapeutic relationship and providing clinical services, including motivational interviewing, humanistic and existential approaches, and psychodynamic, cognitive, and dialectical behavioral therapies. She uses a collaborative approach to identify her client’s strengths and challenges to create a roadmap to living a healthier and more authentic life.
Throughout her career, Ms. Hernandez has facilitated psychoeducation and group psychotherapy as well as individual, family, and family therapy. Treating issues related to mood and psychiatric disorders. She has acquired experience working with populations of all ages in academic, social service, and outpatient settings. At Life Enrichment Counseling Center, Ms. Hernandez works with adolescents (13 years and above), adults, and families.
