My approach to counseling is to collaborate with my clients to understand their goals both individually and together. I employ different counseling methods depending upon the needs of my clients. I am trained in several evidence-based treatments including Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused short-term therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.

I encourage verbal communication skills, coping techniques, understanding empathy, compassion, and acknowledgements. As a counselor I aim to develop an understanding of each person’s value system. I have experience through the United States Air Force, as well as in private practice. I am certified in trauma, as well as a licensed behavior analysis.
